What is a Kronos Tag?

Your Kronos Tag is your unique username on Kronos — a short, memorable handle (like @john) that other Kronos users can use to send you money instantly.

Why it exists

Sending money via Kronos Tag means you don't need to share your phone number, email, or bank details. Just give someone your tag and they can pay you in seconds.

How to set or change your tag

1. Go to Settings → Profile → Kronos Tag
2. Tap Edit
3. Enter your desired tag (3–20 characters, letters/numbers/underscores)
4. Tap Save

Tags are first-come-first-served — if your preferred tag is taken, try a variation. You can change your tag once every 30 days.

How to send money to someone

1. From the Home screen, tap Send
2. Enter the recipient's Kronos Tag (e.g., @sarah)
3. Enter the amount
4. Confirm with your OTP code

Transfers are instant. Standard users pay 1%, Kronos Pro members pay zero fees.

Tag rules

• Must be unique across all Kronos users
• 3–20 characters
• Letters, numbers, and underscores only
• Cannot impersonate Kronos or staff (e.g., @kronos_support is reserved)
• We reserve the right to reclaim tags that violate our trademark or terms
